Travel Diary Part 3 : Hampton, Salem, Boston 2012

Day 3 - 07/25/12 : Visiting Witch City

Finally, we were going to visit Salem during the day, and I must say I have been very excited for this day, as this small city is one of my favourite destination and places to visit ever! I was happily surprised to notice that the town had not changed in one year, it was still the same small, enchanted lively town with its magical atmosphere always present in the air. Since it were our third time in Salem, we decided to take it easy and just walk around town, visit the shops and enjoy the scenery and atmosphere ^^ Here is a shop of the Salem harbour at day. 

For some reason I still don't know, while wandering around town we came across some piratey things to take pictures XD Here is the result : 

Very sexy isn't that? HAHAHHAHA XD. Continuing our way along the Witch Trail, we ended up in the Salem main cemetery. It is a very pretty looking cemetery and it has a lot of old tombstones. There are some dating from the era of the witch hysteria, it is a very old graveyard. It was indeed a nice spot to take some pictures ^^

Then we arrived on the main street, which is very beautiful, it is the street I have taken pictures of during the evening (which you can see in diary part 1). There was a haunted house and Patrick absolutely wanted to do it even though it sounded like a tourist trap xD We ended up doing it and, to my surprise it was really fun haha. It was not long, but it did was scary and very funny, we had a good laugh in there ^^

Then on our way we came across a candy store that sold old-fashioned candies. It looked really beautiful and we went in to buy a few things. We bought some candy that was invented in salem at its foundation and still made following the original recipe, and it does taste really good ^^ 

I had bought a lot of things during those days, as all the shops in Salem sell interesting stuff ^^ Here are a few things I bought (not going to name it all here, it would take ages xD). 

A silver spider poison ring, I love it <3

Egyptian ritual dagger, I got it for a very low price and it looks very sexy :D

I also bought a very pretty dragon silver pendant for my boyfriend <3 I am not going to post a picture here, but I will when he wears it ^^ I do look forward to giving it to him, I am sure it will look great on the man :P So that is that for our day in Salem, all in all it was an awesome day spent there and I do want to go visit the town again ^^
