I have a new poem for you! And by new, I mean completely brand new! It had been a long while since I had written any new poetry, and inspiration struck me in one unexpected moment. I do hope you enjoy this. I tried a lot of different things in this piece and it was a fun experience, and I do enjoy the result :) Beware though, it is a bit crazy and contains strong language. Let me know what you think!

Poppy (Paradise)
Abandoning myself to the power of sleep
I dream
Of a reality shattered in thousands of pieces
I dream, I dream, I dream, I dream
Goddess of Sleep, come embrace me
I am ready to dive into your wings
And escape this insignificant truth
I dream
As I dive further and further
What once was a flat and simple plane
Is broken; the reality I shatter, I destroy, I murder
I dream, I dream, I dream
Yes I dream
And now it is made of curves, of lines intertwined
Axis of X and of Y is now my Z and your Pi
And nothing makes any more sense
Than those words on these idiotic lines
Or what you might imagine to be a dance
Of death and meaningless rhymes
I dream, I dream
What I imagine is because of that dream
That dream I dream of dreams I dream
Fallen in dreams
Far from your useless pathetic world I dream
You have opened the gate to a far better existence
Goddess of madness I kiss and fuck you
I dream, I dream... I dream I dream I dream!
I am ready to die in your wings
The more I welcome you inside of me
The more you want me inside of you
I can feel you flowing in my veins
I can breathe you, you can breathe me
Total control over me, you have; kill me
I dream, I do, I dream because of you
There is no reality is useless and madness
A folly as insane as this verse of disease
Intoxicated by your sweet paradise
I am all yours
I dream, I dream... I dream...
The dream becomes real as the real becomes dream
And slowly
I dream
I sleep
I die.
